Sep. 20, 2016 (AMP) — League Cup 2016-17 : Reading defeated Brighton & Hove Albion by a score of 2-1 (halftime: 1-0), in the League Cup third round on Tuesday night.
Reading dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Quinn Stephen in the 32nd minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, the Royals further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Swift John in the 54th minute.
