League Cup 2016-17 : Man Utd beats Northampton 3-1 to qualify for next round

Sep. 21, 2016 (AMP) — League Cup 2016-17 : Manchester United defeated Northampton Town by a score of 3-1 (halftime: 1-1), in the League Cup third round on Wednesday night.

Carrick Michael opened the score in the 17th minute, before seeing Northampton Town catch up in the 42nd minute thanks to Revell Alex penalty kick. 1-1 at half time. The Red Devils eventually won the game in the second period with two more goals by Herrera Ander ('68) and Rashford Marcus ('75).
