ACCRINGTON, Aug. 8, 2017 (AMP) — League Cup 2017-18 : Accrington Stanley defeated Preston by a score of 3-2 (halftime: 1-0), in the League Cup first round on Tuesday night.
Accrington Stanley dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Richards-Everton in the 20th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, Stanley further widened their lead in the second period by scoring twice (Clark '86 and Kee '90).
