League Cup 2017-18 : Blackburn beats Coventry 3-1 to qualify for next round
COVENTRY, Aug. 8, 2017 (AMP) — League Cup 2017-18 : Blackburn Rovers defeated Coventry City by a score of 3-1 (halftime: 2-1), in the League Cup first round on Tuesday night.
Blackburn Rovers dominated the first half thanks to goals from Evans ('16) and Smallwood ('33). Leading 2-1 at the break, Rovers further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Samuel in the 56th minute.
