OXFORD, Aug. 8, 2017 (AMP) — League Cup 2017-18 : Cheltenham Town defeated Oxford United 4-3 after extra time, in the League Cup first round on Tuesday night.
Eisa and Wright scored dual goals
The score was still 3-2 for Oxford United a minute from the end of regulation time, when an unexpected goal from Wright allowed Cheltenham Town to equalize and just squeeze through to overtime. In the 99th minute, it was ultimately Eisa who brought the Robins to victory by scoring the winning goal.
