League Cup 2017-18 : Barnet beats Peterborough 3-1 to qualify for next round
PETERBOROUGH, Aug. 8, 2017 (AMP) — League Cup 2017-18 : Barnet defeated Peterborough United by a score of 3-1 (halftime: 2-1), in the League Cup first round on Tuesday night.
Barnet dominated the first half thanks to goals from Akpa Akpro ('22) and Vilhete ('39). Leading 2-1 at the break, the Bees further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Coulthirst in the 58th minute.
