LEEDS, Aug. 9, 2017 (AMP) — League Cup 2017-18 : Leeds United defeated Port Vale by a score of 4-1 (halftime: 1-1), in the League Cup first round on Wednesday night.

Sáiz scored tripple goals

Leeds United forward Sáiz opened the score in the 13th minute, before seeing Port Vale catch up in the 36th minute thanks to Michael Tonge. 1-1 at half time. The Whites eventually won the game in the second period with three more goals by Sáiz ('60, '62) and Ekuban ('83).
