League Cup 2017-18 : Sheffield United beats Walsall 3-2 to qualify for next round

SHEFFIELD, Aug. 9, 2017 (AMP) — League Cup 2017-18 : Sheffield United defeated Walsall by a score of 3-2 (halftime: 0-1), in the League Cup first round on Wednesday night at Bramall Lane in Sheffield.

Walsall had started off well by taking the lead in the 13th minute with a goal by Bakayoko. Trailing 1-0 at half time, the Blades nonetheless manage to reverse the direction of the game by scoring three times in the second period (Roberts '74 own, Thomas '79 and Lafferty '82).
