ACCRINGTON, Aug. 22, 2017 (AMP) — League Cup 2017-18 : West Brom defeated Accrington Stanley by a score of 3-1 (halftime: 2-0), in the League Cup second round on Tuesday night.
West Brom dominated the first half thanks to goals from Rondón ('11) and Phillips ('31). Leading 2-0 at the break, the Throstles further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Rodriguez in the 64th minute.
