League Cup 2017-18 : Bournemouth beats Birmingham City 2-1 to qualify for next round
BIRMINGHAM, Aug. 22, 2017 (AMP) — League Cup 2017-18 : Bournemouth defeated Birmingham City by a score of 2-1 (halftime: 0-1), in the League Cup second round on Tuesday night.
Birmingham City had started off well by taking the lead in the 11th minute with a goal by Kieftenbeld. Trailing 1-0 at half time, the Cherries nonetheless manage to reverse the direction of the game by scoring twice in the second period (Fraser '46 and Pugh '68).
