League Cup 2017-18 : Norwich City beats Charlton Athletic 4-1 to qualify for next round

NORWICH, Aug. 22, 2017 (AMP) — League Cup 2017-18 : Norwich City defeated Charlton Athletic by a score of 4-1 (halftime: 1-1), in the League Cup second round on Tuesday night at Carrow Road in Norwich.

Josh Murphy scored dual goals

Charlton Athletic forward Lee Novak opened the score in the 5th minute, before seeing Norwich City catch up in the 21st minute thanks to Josh Murphy. 1-1 at half time. The Canaries eventually won the game in the second period with three more goals by Murphy ('52), Watkins ('74) and Trybull ('89).
