LONDON, Aug. 22, 2017 (AMP) — League Cup 2017-18 : Brentford defeated QPR by a score of 4-1 (halftime: 3-1), in the League Cup second round on Tuesday night at Loftus Road in London.
Brentford dominated the first half thanks to goals from Borysiuk ('10 own), Egan ('19) and Maupay ('32). Leading 3-1 at the break, the Bees further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Clarke with just 7 minutes remaining in regulation time.
