League Cup 2017-18 : Reading beats Millwall 3-1 in extra time to qualify for next round
READING, Aug. 22, 2017 (AMP) — League Cup 2017-18 : Reading defeated Millwall 3-1 after extra time, in the League Cup second round on Tuesday night at the Madejski Stadium in Reading.
The score was still 1-1 after the 90 minutes of regulation time, after goals from Leandro Bacuna ('34) for Reading and Shane Ferguson ('37) for Millwall, and both teams had to wait for overtime to settle the issue. The Royals finally broke through with goals from Evans ('105) and Smith ('117).
