League Cup 2017-18 : Huddersfield Town beats Rotherham 2-1 to qualify for next round
HUDDERSFIELD, Aug. 23, 2017 (AMP) — League Cup 2017-18 : Huddersfield Town defeated Rotherham United by a score of 2-1 (halftime: 0-1), in the League Cup second round on Wednesday night.
Rotherham United had started off well by taking the lead in the 1st minute with a goal by defender Semi Ajayi. Trailing 1-0 at half time, the Terriers nonetheless manage to reverse the direction of the game by scoring twice in the second period (Billing '52 on penalty and Lolley '54).
Huddersfield Town advance to the third round of the League Cup. Rotherham is eliminated.Fixtures and Results : Second round
