STOKE, Aug. 23, 2017 (AMP) — League Cup 2017-18 : Stoke City defeated Rochdale by a big score of 4-0 (halftime: 3-0), in the League Cup second round on Wednesday night.
Joe Allen scored dual goals
Stoke City dominated the first half thanks to goals from Allen ('16, '42) and Crouch ('29). Leading 3-0 at the break, Stoke City players further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Sobhi with just 10 minutes remaining in regulation time.
