League Cup 2017-18 : Barnsley beats Derby County 3-2 to qualify for next round

BARNSLEY, Sep. 12, 2017 (AMP) — League Cup 2017-18 : Barnsley defeated Derby County by a score of 3-2 (halftime: 1-2), in the League Cup second round on Tuesday night.

Derby County had started off well by taking the lead thanks to goals by Russell Johnny ('7) and Bennett Mason ('39), while Barnsley only scored once Jackson Adam ('18). Trailing 2-1 at half time, the Tykes nonetheless manage to reverse the direction of the game by scoring twice in the second period (Bradshaw Tom '73 and Hammill Adam '89).
