Leicester beats Liverpool to reach League Cup quarterfinals

LEICESTER, Sep. 19, 2017 (AMP) — League Cup 2017-18 : Leicester qualified to the quarter-finals of the League Cup with a 2-0 win against Liverpool (halftime: 0-0) on Tuesday night at the King Power Stadium in Leicester.

Liverpool made Leicester doubt themselves for forty-five minutes. 0-0 at half time. Everything was settled in the second period with goals by Okazaki Shinji ('65) and Slimani Islam ('78).
