Chelsea beats Forest to reach League Cup quarterfinals

LONDON, Sep. 20, 2017 (AMP) — League Cup 2017-18 : Chelsea qualified to the quarter-finals of the League Cup with a 5-1 win against Nottingham Forest (halftime: 3-0) on Wednesday night at Stamford Bridge in London.

Batshuayi Michy scored tripple goals

Chelsea dominated the first half thanks to goals from Kenedy ('13), Batshuayi Michy ('19) and Musonda Charly ('40). Leading 3-0 at the break, the Blues further widened their lead in the second period by scoring twice (Batshuayi Michy '53, '86).
