Man Utd beats Burton to reach League Cup quarterfinals

MANCHESTER, Sep. 20, 2017 (AMP) — League Cup 2017-18 : Manchester United qualified to the quarter-finals of the League Cup with a 4-1 win against Burton Albion (halftime: 3-0) on Wednesday night at Old Trafford.

Rashford Marcus scored dual goals

Manchester United dominated the first half thanks to goals from Rashford Marcus ('5, '17) and Lingard Jesse ('36). Leading 3-0 at the break, the Red Devils further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Martial Anthony in the 60th minute.
