BRISBANE, Oct. 2, 1998 (AMP) — Australia 1998 : New Zealand reached the OFC Nations Cup final for the second time in their history with a 1-0 win against the Fiji (halftime: 0-0) on Friday at the Suncorp Stadium in Brisbane.
45 minutes of play and neither the New Zealanders nor the Fijians have managed to pull ahead. 0-0 at half time. Everything was decided in the second period with a saving goal by Hay with just 2 minutes remaining in regulation time.
