AUCKLAND, Jul. 14, 2002 (AMP) — New Zealand 2002 : Tahiti secured the consolation of third place at the 2002 OFC Nations Cup with a 1-0 win against Vanuatu (halftime: 0-0) on Sunday at the Ericsson Stadium in Auckland.
45 minutes of play and neither the Tahitians nor the Vanuatuans have managed to pull ahead. 0-0 at half time. Everything was settled in the second period with a saving goal by Auraa in the 65th minute.
