New Caledonia beats New Zealand to reach OFC Nations Cup final
HONIARA, Jun. 8, 2012 (AMP) — Solomon 2012 : New Caledonia reached the OFC Nations Cup final for the very first time in their history with a 2-0 win against New Zealand (halftime: 0-0) on Friday afternoon at the Lawson Tama Stadium in Honiara.
Both teams held off against each other during the first 45 minutes of the game. 0-0 at half time. Everything was settled in the second period with goals by Kaï ('60) and Gope-Fenepej ('90).
