Brazil beats Honduras to reach Olympics final
RIO DE JANEIRO, Aug. 17, 2016 (AMP) — Rio 2016 : Brazil reached the Olympics final for the fourth time in their history with a 6-0 win against Honduras (halftime: 3-0) on Wednesday afternoon at the Maracanã Stadium in Rio de Janeiro.
Neymar and Gabriel Jesus scored dual goals
Brazil dominated the first half thanks to goals from Neymar ('1) and Gabriel Jesus ('26, '35). Leading 3-0 at the break, the Brazilians further widened their lead in the second period by scoring three times (Marquinhos '51, Luan '79 and Neymar '90/penalty).
