GERMANY, Aug. 22, 2014 (AMP) — 2. Bundesliga / Match day 3: After losing 2-0 to VfR Aalen on August 8, FC St. Pauli returned to winning ways with a 2-1 victory over SV Sandhausen this Friday.
FC St. Pauli forward Christopher Nöthe opened the score in the 5th minute, before seeing SV Sandhausen catch up in the 23rd minute thanks to René Gartler. 1-1 at half time. FC St. Pauli eventually won the game in the second period with with a goal by Sobiech in stoppage time.
