GERMANY, Mar. 1, 2015 (AMP) — 2. Bundesliga / Match day 23: After losing 2-3 to Erzgebirge Aue on February 22 and 1-3 to FC Nürnberg on February 22, Fortuna Düsseldorf bounced back with a 2-1 victory over FC Heidenheim this Sunday.
FC Heidenheim midfielder Robert Leipertz opened the score in the 11th minute, before seeing Fortuna Düsseldorf catch up in the 23rd minute thanks to Oliver Fink. 1-1 at half time. Fortuna Düsseldorf eventually won the game in the second period with with a goal by Bellinghausen in the 61st minute.
Fortuna Düsseldorf climbed to fifth place with 35 points from 23 games, 4 points behind Karlsruher SC.
