SV Sandhausen dominated the first half thanks to goals from Wooten ('6), Linsmayer ('9) and Kosecki Jakub ('18). Leading 3-0 at the break, SV Sandhausen players further widened their lead in the second period by scoring three times (Bouhaddouz '53, Wooten '61 and Jovanović '87).
