After their success against SV Sandhausen, FC Kaiserslautern, Arminia Bielefeld and RB Leipzig, the Breisgau-Brasilianer continued their sensational form in the 2. Bundesliga with a 3-1 victory over FSV Frankfurt this Sunday.

Nils Petersen scored dual goals

SC Freiburg dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by forward Florian Niederlechner in the 28th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, the Breisgau-Brasilianer further widened their lead in the second period by scoring twice (Petersen '83, '86/penalty).

SC Freiburg remains in second place with 53 points from 26 games, 3 points behind RB Leipzig.
