GERMANY, Aug. 20, 2017 (AMP) — 2. Bundesliga / Match day 3: After losing 2-1 to Arminia Bielefeld on August 6 and 0-1 to FC Nürnberg on August 6, Jahnelf bounced back with a 4-2 victory over FC Ingolstadt this Sunday.
George Jan scored dual goals
Jahn Regensburg dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Mees Joshua in the 27th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, Jahnelf further widened their lead in the second period by scoring three times (George Jan '73, '79 and Nietfeld Jonas '90).
SSV Jahn Regensburg climbed to 12nd place with 3 points from 3 games, only one point behind SG Dynamo Dresden.
