GERMANY, Sep. 10, 2017 (AMP) — 2. Bundesliga / Match day 5: After two straigth victories against FC St. Pauli and MSV Duisburg, Darmstadt 98 lost 2-1 against VfL Bochum.

Darmstadt 98 had started off well by taking the lead in the 24th minute with a goal by defender Aytaç Sulu. Trailing 1-0 at half time, VfL Bochum players nonetheless manage to reverse the direction of the game by scoring twice in the second period (Diamantakos Dimitrios '81 and Kruse '86).

SV Darmstadt 98 remains in second place with 10 points from 5 games, 3 points behind Fortuna Düsseldorf.
