GERMANY, Dec. 1, 2017 (AMP) — 2. Bundesliga / Match day 16: Two wins in a row for Arminia Bielefeld. After their 0-2 win against FC Kaiserslautern on November 26, Die Arminen continued their sensational form in the 2. Bundesliga with a 5-0 victory over FC St. Pauli this Friday.
Arminia Bielefeld dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Putaro Leandro in the 38th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, Die Arminen further widened their lead in the second period by scoring four times (Dick Florian '53, Hartherz '62, Kerschbaumer Konstantin '77 and Klos Fabian '85).
DSC Arminia Bielefeld climbed to fifth place with 25 points from 16 games, only one point behind 1. FC Union Berlin, which has a game in hand.
