Algerian league (Week 14) : USMA defeats ESS 3-1
ALGERIA, Dec. 9, 2016 (AMP) — Algerian league / Match day 14: After losing 2-1 to USM Bel-Abbès on December 1, Ouled El-Bahdja bounced back with a 3-1 victory over ES Setif this Friday.
USM Alger dominated the first half thanks to goals from Chafai Farouk ('13) and Meftah Mohamed ('26). Leading 2-0 at the break, Ouled El-Bahdja further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Meziane Abderrahmane in the 78th minute.
USM Alger climbed to first place with 26 points from 14 games, tie on points with runner-up Mouloudia Club d'Alger, which has a game in hand.
