Algerian league (Week 29) : ESS beats USMA 2-1
ALGERIA, Jun. 10, 2017 (AMP) — Algerian league / Match day 29: Three wins in a row for ES Setif. After their success against JS Saoura and MO Béjaïa, the Black Eagles continued their sensational form in the Algerian league with a 2-1 victory over USM Alger this Saturday.
ES Setif dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Djahnit Akram in the 5th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, the Black Eagles further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Djabou Abdelmoumene in the 52nd minute.
ES Setif remains in first place with 57 points from 29 games, a 7-point lead over runner-up Mouloudia Club d'Alger.
