BAGHDAD, Apr. 10, 1975 (AMP) — Iran 1976 (Qualifiers) : Saudi Arabia defeated Afghanistan by a big score of 6-0 (halftime: 6-0), in a qualifying game for the 1976 AFC Asian Cup on Thursday.
The result put the Saudi top of Group 2 with 10 points. Afghanistan is bottom with no points. In their next game, Saudi Arabia will meet second-placed Iraq on April 12, while Afghanistan will face Qatar.
