JEDDAH, Oct. 13, 2003 (AMP) — China 2004 (Qualifiers) : Saudi Arabia defeated Yemen by a score of 3-1 (halftime: 2-1), in a qualifying game for the 2004 AFC Asian Cup on Monday.
The result put the Saudi top of Group C with 12 points. Yemen is third with 3 points. In their next game, Saudi Arabia will meet Bhutan on October 15, while Yemen will face Indonesia.
