INCHEON, Sep. 25, 2003 (AMP) — China 2004 (Qualifiers) : South Korea defeated Vietnam by a big score of 5-0 (halftime: 1-0), in a qualifying game for the 2004 AFC Asian Cup on Thursday.

The result put the Koreans second in Group E with 3 points. In their next game, South Korea will meet group leaders Oman on September 27, while Vietnam will face Nepal.
