CALCUTTA, Aug. 16, 2006 (AMP) — Southeast Asia 2007 (Qualifiers) : Saudi Arabia defeated India by a score of 3-0 (halftime: 2-0), in a qualifying game for the 2007 AFC Asian Cup on Wednesday afternoon.

The result put the Saudi top of Group A with 6 points. India is bottom with no points. In their next game, Saudi Arabia will meet second-placed Japan on September 3, while India will face Saudi Arabia.
