BANGALORE, Oct. 11, 2006 (AMP) — Southeast Asia 2007 (Qualifiers) : Japan defeated India by a score of 3-0 (halftime: 2-0), in a qualifying game for the 2007 AFC Asian Cup on Wednesday afternoon.
The result put the Japanese second in Group A with 12 points. India is bottom with no points. In their last game, Japan will meet group leaders Saudi Arabia on November 15, while India will face Yemen.
