TAIPEI, Aug. 16, 2006 (AMP) — Southeast Asia 2007 (Qualifiers) : South Korea defeated Taiwan by a score of 3-0 (halftime: 1-0), in a qualifying game for the 2007 AFC Asian Cup on Wednesday night.
The result put the Koreans top of Group B with 6 points. Taiwan is bottom with no points. In their next game, South Korea will meet second-placed Iran on September 2, while Taiwan will face South Korea.
