SEOUL, Oct. 11, 2006 (AMP) — Southeast Asia 2007 (Qualifiers) : South Korea tied 1-1 with Syria (halftime: 1-1), in a qualifying game for the 2007 AFC Asian Cup on Wednesday night.
The result put the Koreans top of Group B with 11 points. Syria is third with 5 points. In their last game, South Korea will meet second-placed Iran on November 15, while Syria will face Taiwan.
