MUSCAT, Sep. 6, 2006 (AMP) — Southeast Asia 2007 (Qualifiers) : Oman defeated Pakistan by a big score of 5-0 (halftime: 3-0), in a qualifying game for the 2007 AFC Asian Cup on Wednesday night.
The result put the Omani second in Group C with 9 points. Pakistan is bottom with no points. In their next game, Oman will meet group leaders the United Arab Emirates on October 11, while Pakistan will face Jordan.
