MUSCAT, Oct. 11, 2006 (AMP) — Southeast Asia 2007 (Qualifiers) : Oman defeated the United Arab Emirates by a score of 2-1 (halftime: 2-0), in a qualifying game for the 2007 AFC Asian Cup on Wednesday night.
The result put the Omani top of Group C with 12 points. UAE is second with 10 points. In their last game, Oman will meet third-placed Jordan on November 15, while the United Arab Emirates will face Pakistan.
