DOHA, Sep. 6, 2006 (AMP) — Southeast Asia 2007 (Qualifiers) : Qatar defeated Bangladesh by a score of 3-0 (halftime: 2-0), in a qualifying game for the 2007 AFC Asian Cup on Wednesday night.
The result put the Qatari top of Group F with 12 points. Bangladesh is bottom with no points. In their next game, Qatar will meet third-placed Hong Kong on October 11, while Bangladesh will face Uzbekistan.
