DOHA, Oct. 11, 2006 (AMP) — Southeast Asia 2007 (Qualifiers) : Qatar defeated Hong Kong by a score of 2-0 (halftime: 1-0), in a qualifying game for the 2007 AFC Asian Cup on Wednesday night.
The result put the Qatari top of Group F with 15 points. Hong Kong is third with 5 points. In their last game, Qatar will meet second-placed Uzbekistan on November 15, while Hong Kong will face Bangladesh.
