HANOI, Jan. 14, 2009 (AMP) — Qatar 2011 (Qualifiers) : Vietnam defeated Lebanon by a score of 3-1 (halftime: 2-0), in a qualifying game for the 2011 AFC Asian Cup on Wednesday night.
The result put the Vietnamese top of Group D with 3 points. In their next game, Vietnam will meet third-placed China on January 21, while Lebanon will face Syria.
