SINGAPORE, Jan. 28, 2009 (AMP) — Qatar 2011 (Qualifiers) : Singapore defeated Jordan by a score of 2-1 (halftime: 1-1), in a qualifying game for the 2011 AFC Asian Cup on Wednesday night.
The result put the Singaporeans second in Group E with 3 points. Jordan is bottom with one point. In their next game, Singapore will meet third-placed Thailand on November 14, while Jordan will face Iran.
