BEIRUT, Nov. 19, 2013 (AMP) — Australia 2015 (Qualifiers) : Iran defeated Lebanon by a score of 4-1 (halftime: 1-0), in a qualifying game for the 2015 AFC Asian Cup on Tuesday afternoon.
The result put the Iranians top of Group B with 13 points. Lebanon is third with 5 points. In their last game, Iran will meet second-placed Kuwait on March 3, while Lebanon will face Thailand.
