MALé, Oct. 10, 2017 (AMP) — Emirates 2019 (Qualifiers) : Oman defeated the Maldives by a score of 3-1 (halftime: 2-1), in a qualifying game for the 2019 AFC Asian Cup on Tuesday night at the Rasmee Dhandu National Stadium in Malé.
The result put the Omani second in Group D with 9 points. The Maldives is third with 3 points. In their next game, Oman will meet Bhutan at the Rasmee Dhandu National Stadium on November 14, while the Maldives will face Palestine.
