THIMPHU, Nov. 14, 2017 (AMP) — Emirates 2019 (Qualifiers) : Oman defeated Bhutan by a score of 4-2 (halftime: 0-0), in a qualifying game for the 2019 AFC Asian Cup on Tuesday night at the Changlimithang Stadium in Thimphu.
The result put the Omani second in Group D with 12 points. Bhutan is bottom with no points. In their last game, Oman will meet group leaders Palestine at the Changlimithang Stadium on March 27, while Bhutan will face the Maldives.
