JENIN, Nov. 14, 2017 (AMP) — Emirates 2019 (Qualifiers) : Palestine defeated the Maldives by a big score of 8-1 (halftime: 4-0), in a qualifying game for the 2019 AFC Asian Cup on Tuesday afternoon.
The result put the Palestinians top of Group D with 15 points. The Maldives is third with 3 points. In their last game, Palestine will meet second-placed Oman on March 27, while the Maldives will face Bhutan.
