TAIPEI, Mar. 26, 2017 (AMP) — Emirates 2019 (Qualifiers) : Turkmenistan defeated Taiwan by a score of 3-1 (halftime: 2-1), in a qualifying game for the 2019 AFC Asian Cup on Sunday night at the Taipei Municipal Stadium in Taipei.
The result put the Turkmens top of Group E with 3 points. In their next game, Turkmenistan will meet second-placed Bahrain at the Taipei Municipal Stadium on June 13, while Taiwan will face Singapore.
